Laminate Parquet

Laminate parquet represents a balanced combination of technology, performance and contemporary design. At Finixia, laminate flooring is supplied as a resistant and versatile solution capable of withstanding intensive use while maintaining an attractive appearance across different types of projects.

Its structure, based on high density fibreboard (HDF), enhances stability and improves resistance to moisture, while also reducing footstep noise. This makes laminate parquet a reliable choice for both residential and public spaces where durability and comfort are required.

With a wide selection of colours, textures and formats, laminate parquet adapts easily to different architectural styles, allowing designers to achieve consistent and practical flooring solutions without compromising visual impact.

Description

Laminate flooring offers a broad range of colours, finishes and surface textures, making it easy to find a design that matches the aesthetic requirements of any project. Board dimensions can vary depending on the desired final appearance, with wider planks enhancing larger spaces and narrower formats offering a more traditional look. This flexibility allows laminate floors to integrate naturally with the style and architecture of each environment.

Composition

Laminate parquet is manufactured using a high-density fibreboard (HDF) core, which provides strength and dimensional stability. The decorative surface layer consists of paper impregnated with amino-plastic resins, accurately reproducing different wood species and decorative designs.

The top protective layer, known as the overlay, is made from a cellulose film reinforced with aluminium oxide or corundum particles. This premium overlay ensures high resistance to wear, impact, scratching, staining and cigarette burns, achieving classifications such as AC4–AC5. The bottom layer is a melamine kraft paper that acts as a counterbalance and additional insulation.

Applications

Laminate parquet can be installed in virtually any environment, from residential interiors to public and commercial spaces. It performs well in high-traffic areas and maintains its appearance despite changes in temperature, light and humidity. Thanks to its anti-slip properties and stability, it is especially suitable for entrance areas, workspaces and circulation zones, and it is also compatible with underfloor heating systems.
